I'm trying to understand where you're getting all these items from. Did a Cherry office just close and you picked through the storage closet?

do bear in mind that I work here as Djuzuh says, so I have access to them....I'm a bit of a hoarder and keep old & long forgotten 'rubbish' just in case opportunities arise. Also, worth mentioning that this ISN'T going into my pocket (unfortunately!) - it's all going into company coffers, paying, essentially, for nights out for the staff that work here - all 13 of us. Times is tough - if it ain't nailed down, sell it (that's the boss's motto...!)

Sober as a judge. You don't have to be drunk to work here, but sometimes it may help......!

Oh I knew you worked there, I just didn't know the principal of all these sales.

That's a shame to hear about your company's luck, especially when typing on a set of your company's awesome double shot keys. Is the future of Cherry a little bleak at the moment?

No, not at all - in fact, business is on the up and up. We've had a few projects come through over the last couple of months, so it's all looking positive. With switches, automotive and keyboards all doing well (particularly switches, whose sales have been out of this world), we're set to exceed the  target this year as we've already surpassed the 1/2 year target before the end of the 1/2 year.

My boss is a nice guy, but if it's not being used, there's no room for sentiment - if you're not using it and it'll sell, sell it. This means that we don't have to shell out for the Xmas party, nights out for celebration of beating targets or bacon rolls on a Friday morning (yum!) out of either our own pockets or the company funds - it's paid for by selling what we don't need. Call it 'calculated recycling'!!

Glad to hear business is going well, I hope you guys can figure out a low-risk way to ramp up switch production to catch up to our demand soon! ;)

you and me both - switch customers are screaming for product, but we're really not sure what's causing the hold up. May be a large French project, don't know, but it's causing grief with our main switch customer in the UK (Devlin) and will no doubt have consequences to their projects too....we can only be patient.....
