Looking for English/Korean text keycaps mechanical keyboard
« on: Thu, 16 August 2012, 00:33:04 »
i'm looking for key caps that have both English and Korean on them as I'm currently learning korean at my country (Malaysia)

With my low budget, I am currently aiming at CM rapid fire pro (MX brown or MX red). However there is no Eng/Kor keycap version at my local distributor.  :(

I have tried to look for custom made keycap from QWERKEYS but it would cost me 60 GBP just for the keycap which is way over my budget  :(

on the other hand, I have tried to look for it at gmarket korea to try look for the korean version of rapid fire. But the price would be two times of my local version after including the international shipping from gmarket.

Is there a cheaper alternative way to get English/Korean text keycaps? One of my friend suggest me to get those korean sticker like following and stick them on my keyboard.
http://www.ebay.com.my/itm/KOREAN-KEYBOARD-TRANSPARENT-STICKER-GREEN-Laptop-PC-/110800919135?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19cc3fda5f#ht_655wt_947

Sorry for my bad english. Hopefully I'm not asking too much and I hope you guys here can help me over here.

Thanks in advance! :)

lowyat.net houses a malay-specific keyboard forum. further, kaiserreich and cyclonechuah are both vendors in/around KL i believe. they should be able to get you what you need :)

also, welcome to geekhack!, and your english is excellent

on the top menubar, hover your mouse over 'messages', click 'send a message', and put their names in the "to" text field. write your message, and internets!
