Name of this keyset?
« on: Wed, 10 October 2012, 18:50:28 »
Hi,
I'm a big fan of orange, and I saw this keyset on KBD

credit from leesofi on KBD

May I ask name of this keyset and when/where it was produced or GB? Is it Orange set from 7bit GB?

Nah, that's a different look and I don't think anyone has their hands on that yet.

almost certainly made by cherry.
the keys are apparently from an earlier version of the dolch PAC (according to leesofi). probably harder to track down than the more 'common' dolch pac 64 keys that are all the rage.

I know, I was saying that it's different than 7bit's round4 stuff.  I replied at the same time.

That could be the orange Dolch set. But from how crappy that photo is, looks like they are pad printed.

Either way, it looks awesome.

No one can ever do a proper run of these again, unless all the Cherry molds are reproduced. Sure you can try to come close with sub par SP caps but... no comparison to the real thing. Discontinuing doubleshots have earned an eternal hatred of ZF from me. Worst thing that ever happened to Cherry, wish they could have just bought out the automotive sensor division only and left the rest of the company the f*ck alone.
