seems to be a retailer specific thing but yeah a reason would be nice

personally i bought an mx blue a while ago and immediately returned it, no real reason to get one of these:  if you can afford one, just save a little more for a filco or something.  keycaps are hideous too, and they felt more wobbly than my filcos.  that USB port seems to be a common point of failure too and mine was exceptionally loose out of the box

"In regards to your most recent inquiry about shipping Rosewill keyboard to IL, we are sorry to inform you that Rosewill no longer ships keyboard/mice to IL, NY and NC. This is due to additional e-waste fees imposed by these states. Unfortunately, we are unable to make exceptions for this. I apologize for any inconvenience."

However, Amazon seems to have no issues sending rosewill boards to these states. It's a vague reason that I really wish they'd give more details about.

At least in IL it's because of a loophole in the e-waste law.    "All manufacturers" blah blah must pay for recycling for "products they sold"  Since NewEgg is/owns Rosewill and they don't want to pay for the program they don't ship to IL, Amazon can ship there since they aren't the manufacturer... crazy stuff.
