Hi,

I would like to trade my Ironman SE Gold on Black MX Cap for either:
A. 1 Rare, Mr. Friday MX CC or Tri Color MX CC (NO 3D) plus some CASH
OR
B. 2 normal single color MX CC.

Open to CASH offers as well.

Ironman cap will be shipped via First Class with Insurance and Delivery Confirmation.

I believe in his original post before he edited, he said he would be valuing everything at cost, or at MSRP and would value CCs accordingly. The ironmen were 125 each, and I believe the tri colors were 28, so according to that math, he should be receiving at least 4 tricolors, and 1 solid color, but since he's being such a nice guy, he is settling for 1 rare and 1 solid.

Yes the price of the Ironman was $125 shipped. Reason for me wanting to trade everything at MSRP is because it's hard to value these items at the inflated prices. The Tri Color CC's resell for about $125-150 however, the last Ironman was sold @ $200+ in an auction. So asking for 1 rare 1 normal CC seems like more than a fair deal to me. Considering CC's only cost about $20-$25 in the first place.

That auction isn't fair market value. It was to help someone out who was in need. That auction should just be forgotten as far as pricing goes.

That is exactly why I wanted to use the MSRP price to value the prices. Tri-Color skulls were also auctioned off in the same threads, or similar threads. And to be more specific the SE Ironman keys have never been auctioned off on GH so there is no way to judge the market price for it.

And IIRC, it's for a reason. They haven't been around for too long, and wasn't it requested by mkawa that they not be sold for excessive prices?

Now this I agree with you on. In fact, the only thing I intended to argue was the use of that particular auction to determine market value, because it's not. I've had people try to sell me Julysicles because they know I paid over $300 for one. I won't do that.

But if we're asking me, I do think that one Rare Tricolor and one other CC is over what you should expect to trade this for. I think one tricolor is reasonable (not 3D). But that's just me. This is your trade. And good luck with it. If I had a Tricolor that I wasn't looking to hold onto, I would offer it because I really want an Ironman. And the opportunities to own them seem to be fewer and further in between than CCs. :/ Good luck!

No CF keys sold through EK have ever been painted. "Tri-color=Multi-Molded".
Some of the really rare keys sold exclusively through me have been painted in the past though.
