HHKB feel....

But in a more traditional dimension!  Is there anything like this out here?  I have a Realforce tkl, but those topre switches feel more mushy then my HHKB.

You're not going to get closer than a Realforce.

And you can't get individual switches either, or so I've read elsewhere on here.  Is there any other switch that has the same similar feel, with or without sound.  The feel of pressing down on a HHKB switch is what I'm after.

I'm afraid you won't find that in another keyboard. That particular feel is produced by the combination of the Topre 45g dome, the lack of a steel backing plate, and the particular size of the HHKB enclosure. The closest you will find is a RealForge 45g uniform.

Thanks for your help daerid.  I e-mailed Brain at EK about the uniform 45g.  I'm going to give that a shot to see if that does the trick.  I really appreciate the mechanicals, but there's something about the Topre action and how it feels.
