I liked this thread last time it happened =)

For me: 2, 3, 4, and 6 turned on.  I love that left FN key.

1,3,5 myself. Plan on getting the HASU (non-bt) soon to do fully programmable.

Me too. Mine's a pro, not pro2 though, and I need to save up for the HASU after blowing a bunch on the HHKB itself. I love it though  :-* :-* :-*

I don't know if it's heresy or not to get a board that came from the factory with blank keycaps and put a new set lettered caps on. well, I will probably do that and sell the blank ones anyway. It looks nice, but I only need to look at the keys maybe once a day if that to type something in without mistakes. Then the blank caps are annoying.....

anyway let's talk DIP switches some more!  :D

(Does anyone here use Mac layout in Windows? I tried them all out in Debian and decided the HHK layout was fine...)

Left Fn key is amazing. Couldn't imagine using right Fn with layers on any 60% here on out.

Rarely do I see such an underutilised opportunity to post pictures of HHKBs

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

i have 2 FN keys on the left, and 1 on the right :D
edit: Tab and Control on the left, Shift on the right.
Fn = Delete for me. i was actually about to turn that Fn into Backspace, and Backspace into Delete, just to try it out.
