Different Cherry Brown Switches?
« on: Tue, 26 February 2013, 10:20:30 »
Hey guys,

today I tried the Logitech G710+ gaming keyboard and was like "Whoooow!!" because the feeling was so great.  ;D

They are Cherry Brown switches, but I've typed different keyboards with Brown switches already and liked none of them because of the big travelling distance, I would just not be able to type as fast as with my Cherry G85-23100. But these on the Logitech felt different, they were fast and responsive, in opposite to the squashy high-travel Brown switches that I remember.

Could it be that there are different kinds of Cherry Brown switches, or is that simply impossible?

Cool! I hever heard of O-Rings before, but they seem to be awesome :) as they solve the problem I was most likely uncomfortable with mechanical keyboards!

O-Rings can be easily installed on any keyboard with Cherry MX switches, right?

That's right, you pull the cap, put an o-ring on the stem, stick it back on...
