Nexus 4 and Chrome
« on: Fri, 10 May 2013, 23:21:33 »
Hi, i hope someone can help me since i could not figure it out so far.
Anytime i want to bookmark a page a request opens and asks where to save the bookmark. So far so good. If i want to open bookmarks i find sadly no bookmark i previously saved. The only bookmark is 99c or so... i think its a standard bookmark for chrome.
Is chrome broken?
Other browsers seem to suck the battery somewhat faster so i like if i can stick with chrome. But i would like to see my bookmarks that i save on the phone.
Well, anyway, if somebody knows.... maybe chrome is just broken.
Oh, if i type the url in the addressbar the bookmarks seem to be there. Just not in the bookmark window where you fingerpoint on the screen.

I don't always use Chrome on my Android device, but when I do... I have 57 tabs open.

You know what... i figured it out.. at least i think.
First, yes it works. Secondly i noticed that everytime i saved a bookmark, it saved it in "Magazines" which is not existent.
Now i tried to change it to "Mobile Bookmarks" and yes it did. O

Oh man, did i become already airheaded?

Anyway, thanks...  ;)

Haha glad you got it working. I'd uninstall Google magazines and other unneeded bloat line that via titanium backup if you're rooted or disable it under application management if you're not, but that's up to you.

did you mean "currents" ? That i used, well a while ago... no more than weeks ago.
Isn't all google somehow interwoven with the system? I never rooted my phone so far, so that would be something new to me.
