WTB Custom Water Cooling Help in the NYC Area
« on: Wed, 27 March 2013, 19:16:18 »
As the subject says, I live in NYC and would like to pay someone to help me both pick out and help me completely water cool my rig. Not comfortable doing it on my own the first time, would rather have someone else do it while I watch (kinky right?). Big plus if you have experience resleeving PSU wire :D

PM me, post in the thread, send smoke signals.

Doesn't have to be anytime soon, just looking to get an idea as to how much I would need as well as the hope of even finding someone who would want to help.

Thanks in advanced peeps :D

Dude, I would be happy to help you build a water cooled rig.

I've been building water cooled rigs since 2003.  And I've been sleeving my own PSU's for nearly as long.  Also I do all of my own custom wiring.  I never use the cables that come with the PSU.  I use custom 22 AWG and 18 AWG wire, and I crimp new connectors, and custom sleeve it.

Here's an example of mine:

I even have extra water cooling parts, and extra sleeving.

PM me, and I'll come to Brooklyn or you can come to Manhattan, w/e is easier.

Half of the fun in WC is picking out parts and building your own loop! I still have a bucket of extra fittings from several years ago as a result of being indecisive in what to choose.

Do any of you have any experience with Monsoon compression fittings? I was originally planning on getting Bitspower compression fittings but no one has them in stock. So I went with Monsoon instead. I just found someone selling the Bitspower fittings I want and I'm tempted to get those and return the Monsoon ones. Any suggestions?

Sorry to derail this thread. :p
