CM Storm mouse

Thinking of getting a CM Storm Recon Ambidextrous, anyone have this mouse ?:D Dont know if its good  ;D Or the Inferno one  :)

I reviewed the recon a while back. It's not a bad mouse, but it's not amazing either.

What sort of things would you use it for? Gaming?

imo you cannot go wrong with the any avago 3090 mouse (which the recon uses) as long as you are comfortable with the shape and buttonlayout. and on the shape matter, there is nothing anybody can help you with, this remains for your hand and brain to find out.

I respectfully disagree.

The sensor is one part of the equation, but the firmware is where it's at. As I've understood it CM storm hasn't been able to figure out the 3090 firmware entirely just yet, and have had a bit of issues with their mice that use them. I may be relying on outdated info though, so I'm not 100% sure.

Beyond that the shape and size of the recon are big concerns for me personally, but that is obviously up to each individual to decide. I find that for FPS games generally the bigger size is acceptable, but for RTS I feel very limited with a mouse over 90g.

yes they had some problems with the spawn a few years back, but they got resolved. so yeah the info is outdated.
