Anyone knows about Vintage Zenith Data Systems?
« on: Fri, 31 May 2013, 11:38:23 »
I am just curious about this keyboard. Anyone knows anything? I have the feeling the seller is just putting a random price hoping someone will buy. At a price like this, i will only buy if they have Model F spring technology, hehehh

That board is a little overpriced imo.  I could have sword those speak XT, not AT (but I'm not sure).  It uses green alps (linear...very smooth...force smowhere between mx reds and mx blacks).  If I were you, I'd hold out for a ZKB2-AT  model....not the one you have listed in the OP.

Mkawa Beta SSK | IBM SSK | IBM Model AT F | IBM F 122 | IBM Unsaver | LZ-GH (62g ergo clears) | HHKB Pro2 Type-S | HHKB Pro2 | Realforce 87U-Silent (55g uniform) | Leopold FC660C | Omnikey 101 (blue alps) | Kingsaver (blue alps) | Zenith ZKB2 (green alps)
| KBD75 (box reds)

KP Surplus is literally right up the road from me and they do seem to put some pretty random prices on vintage keyboards.

I've got that exact board. DO NOT plug it in via PS/2 like me and fry the controller. :(
