It's a very good monitor, it's just sad that Australia doesn't offer the same price, always the ripped 450$ + shipping.

Wish I could grab one of these at 242.99$. What a good find. Thanks Misslaire.

More importantly, if they strobe the backlight in synch with the pixels (at 120 or 144 Hz) there shouldn't be any visible flicker (I hope).

Sadly, I am now used to 1920*1200 in 24" and I don't know if I could get used to 1920*1080 or not. I'd be willing to give it a shot if...

Anyone want to buy my apple cinema display? I use it without the glass, as it's glossy and scratched by the previous owner. I only want $242.99 lol

If I were to buy it, how much is it to proxy it to Australia? With tracking, or EMS. Is it expensive?

Likely a lot, depending on the weight. For example, a box that's 24" by 12" by 6" (just a guess) that weighs 12 lbs would cost $81 to australia, but only $60 for a 7-lb package.

I don't know what these weigh, but the above prices are for priority with tracking. Express mail (EMI) (3-5 days) is $78 or $105 for those weights.

Edit: after looking it up, I had guessed the weight low, and the size wrong. These weigh at least 17 lbs and are 22.4 x 8.7 x 19.7 inches or so (according to amazon) I suspect the box is even larger than that, but the weight puts it at
GXG (1-3 days) is $192
EMI (3-5 days) is $146
Priority (6-10 days) is $110.60

Really? That still sounds VERY cheap, all add together, and it's still 300$. They're being sold for 400-500$ in Australia, shipping excluded. -_-

Ordered.   We'll see if I like gaming on this better than my 30" at 2560x1600.
