Cherry MX Springs & Stems Ghettoing

Hi, I guess this is just to check my understanding of different MX switches and how I can swap them around in the hope of trying out all different switches without buying all of them.

So here is how I understand the springs and stems, there are basically 3 different stiffness of springs and 4 different types of stems around. and by combining them around you will get all the 9 different type/color of Cherry MX currently in production, with only 1 exception being the Lock switch.

Springs                      Stems

Soft                           Linear (Red, Black, Dark Grey)                       
Medium                     Soft tactile (Brown)
Stiff                           Hard tactile (Clear, Grey)
                                 Clicky (Blue, White, Green)

Black = Linear stem + Stiff Spring
Clear = Hard tactile + medium spring
Green = Clicky + Stiff spring
etc.

So how i understand is that if I for example want MX White I can use Clear spring (Medium) and Blue stem? for the so called "Ghetto White" (in reference to the known Ghetto Green).

With brown stem being the only unique stem that combining with other springs will not result in another cherry mx switch in production.

Back to the purpose of writing up this post is to ask weather or not my understanding is correct, or there are more variations of the stems, because what I am not sure is when reading Deskthority Wiki, MX White is media stiff, soft click but blue and green are just clicky.

No whites use a different clicking mechanism that makes it quieter (black, instead of clear).

It's also factory lubricated to dampen the sound even further.

In terms of sound it's nothing like a blue.

Feel is also different, but not as drastic.

also clears have a totally different spring with less coils so they don't feel the same as other heavy springs.

Due to the stiffer spring they sound a bit quieter but yes it's the same stem.

Thanks for your input, it seems like clear springs and white stems are also unique, but otherwise the rest can be swapped around? ie. clear stem + black spring = grey?

another question, lubing helps dampening the noise as well? Ive been using a G80-300 board with clears for a while now, it was quite stiff in the beginning but after a month or two it definitely got lighter and feels much better to type on, but at the same time it developed rattling noise when typing, noticeably louder than when it was new. would lubing help? if it does what sort of Krytox mixture should I be trying out? 50 grease 50 oil? and victorinox oil on the spring?

I also have stickers lying around, what are they supposed to do?
