Has anyone seen one of those APL keyboards for sale? Are there mechanical of those?

IBM made Model M with APL legends that pop up on the second-hand market now and then. You can custom-order keyboards with APL legends from Unicomp.

some of those APL symbols overlap with the Symbolics "Space Cadet" Lisp keyboard... never seen these before

That's great! My girlfriend suggested buying an Unicomp or a Model M, if possible, and to add the keycaps :)

A few days late for this thread but FYI, I tried to get a set of APL keycaps from Unicomp recently, and was told that they "don't currently have APL caps or the means to print them", but that it was "most definitely on [their] wish list".

Sad :( An SSK with APL keycaps would be awesome.

Ripster is a little "out there"...

...it looks like he was using her handbag as an example to show why the capslock is called a handbag capslock. Not random at all.
