Commodore Amiga 2000 Cherry Switch Keyboard

Most Amiga 2000 keyboards do not have cherry switches however this one does based on the Deskthority wiki:
Quote
Early models have the Cherry G80-0904 with Cherry MX Black switches and double-shot ABS keys. It can be easily spotted because unlike other Amiga keyboards, there are gaps between the Amiga keys and the space bar. The function keys are also only one unit wide.

There are interesting unique keys like the 1x caps lock with LED and front-printed numpad.

Those are definitely Cherry DS. Nice find even though it's a little dirty.

Yah, it's not the greatest. The Amiga keys are pad printed, so the right one is worn.

Does the '*' key on the numpad look rotated to you?

Yeah, it's definitely rotated. You can tell from the profile.

The right key's symbol is supposed to be only an outline. The left and right keys had different meanings in AmigaOS.

I have one of these. Mine doesn't work on PC, I think it speaks XT or something else. Definitely not AT... unless mine is simply busted. Nice find, good price for now. I wouldn't pay more than like $40ish for it.

It speaks Commodore Amiga's own protocol for the Amiga 2000. The Amiga 1000 talks a different protocol. I am not sure about the other box/tower Amiga models.
