Hello Folks

Just got into dying keycaps and now I'm hooked. At least, I keep messing around mixing colors trying to get all shades and hues.

So I'm back in the market looking for buckling spring keycaps. Any kind of keycap is welcome. I own an Lexmark 122-key terminal (thanks Bazemk) and (thanks Moose/ esoomomena) will soon have a F-122 terminal. I have the standard Model M. I have the Model F with weird stepped keys. So I can use nearly any type of buckling spring keycap that exists!

I'll buy all and any keycaps EXCEPT black ones (since there is no way to dye a black keycap). Prefer the tops of two-piece keycaps just to save on shipping.

These must be PBT, of course. I've heard that Unicomp in recent years has been skimping on quality and I don't want the keycaps to melt in my pot!

Am particularly interested in spacebars and an ISO return key, but all are of interest to me!

I have gotten some relegendables (thanks Dorkvader), but could always use more. Be happy to buy them also!

ps I have dye and like messing with them. I'm quite happy with arrangements where you send me some keycaps, I keep some, do a custom dyejob for you on the remaining and send them back!

Really don't know why, but I smile a whole lot when I'm dying something. Makes me feel like a kid again!  ^-^ :)) ;) :) :D ;D :thumb: :p

pm me your email

In any case my work isn't artistic or anything. Just standard dye jobs. I'm not Bunnylake. I don't have a single keyboard where all keycaps are the same color though, because I simply don't want a boring keyboard. Besides, having important keys (eg I assign tilde to Windows) a different color allows me to identify them at a glance.

hey we've talked before.

sorry, I prefer to do my own dye jobs. In any case an entire set of new buckling spring keycaps is only $30 and that lets me customize all I like.

good luck with your sales, though. I think you might have better luck on ebay, because on geekhack too many people are modders and can do their own dye jobs.

what about blue? http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=45699.0
