The eighth edition of VCF Midwest will take place this fall west of Chicago in Lombard, IL - join us on September 28 and 29 in conjunction with Fall Commodore Expo/ECCC as we once again coax vintage electrons into motion! (Visit ECCC's Facebook page here.)

In addition to exhibitions of eclectic electronica, we will feature speakers, vendors and more! Admission is FREE to all whether you come to show, look, build, talk or sell.

The show will run from 8:00 AM on Saturday on into the night, coming to a temporary close at 11:00 PM and reopening at 10:00 AM Sunday morning. We'll wrap up by 4:00 PM. Early setup will be available on Friday evening, after which time the exhibition area will be locked until the show opens on Saturday morning.

I'll be there Saturday and maybe part of Sunday.

I suppose this is the sort of thing you miss out on when you live on a large rock in the middle of the Irish Sea...

I also live on a slightly bigger rock in the North Sea... Not much more to do here either.
unless they have some unforeseeable downside (like they're actually made of cream cheese cunningly disguised as ABS)

I have to vent - didn't feel like creating a new topic.

Yesterday there was a CLEAN Model F AT (non 122, fat enter).  no original box.

The dude wanted ebay prices: $150.  FU!

So I went back today thinking I could try to talk him down.  NO. He sold it yesterday for $80..........................

MO FO'er!!
