I will admit to 'ignoring' several noted socialists, and those rare people at GH who exult in their own rudeness.

I am worried if I block someone I might miss out on something really interesting... Same reason I don't like wearing headphones in public. Luckily so far there hasn't been anyone I have been dying to block.

Well, I finally blocked somebody.  And it's nobody here.  Some douche started sending me nasty PM's.  So I had to block him.

I had TotalChaos and tp4tissue on ignore for a while. But then I realized that I was letting them get to me, which is kind of lame.

I have never blocked anybody.

The bozos that I would be most likely to block are the ones who provide the most comic relief.

Quite often I stop visiting threads that plunge down into nether regions of politics/religion/prejudices/ignorance.
Citizens United violates the essence of what made America a great country in its political system. Now it’s just an oligarchy, with unlimited political bribery being the essence of getting the nominations for president or to elect the president.
So now we’ve just seen a complete subversion of our political system as a payoff to major contributors, who want and expect and sometimes get favors for themselves after the election’s over.”
