Hello GH, I have been lurking the site for a couple of months now as I was deciding on a new keyboard to buy. I'm happy to say that earlier this week, my Cooler Master QFR arrived in the mail to replace my ancient Razer Lycosa.

I did a lot of my research on mechanical boards on here, and I decided to go with Browns as my first switch because of their popularity. I had never typed on a mechanical board before, and I must say it is certainly a night and day experience compared to membrane and scissor switch keyboards. I will certainly never go back.
Some objectives I have for the future are to probably pick up a 84 key layout board for on the go. (There's a gamer's pub around here that I take my laptop to play SC2 from time to time) And when I pick up a new board, I'll probably look into painting the case of my QFR to something unique. For the immediate future, I'm looking forward to getting a new keycap set to replace this ugly font on the QFR.
Anyways, thank you GH for this knowledge base which led me to my decision, and now I look forward to becoming a part of this community.
Thanks!
