External spring for cherry switches

Dose exist an external spring to put outside the switches ?
I mean a conical spring like topre that fits the square base of the switch and the cilinder part of the keycaps .
So you can change the button weight without modification and desoldering .

I don't think there is enough clearance between the keycap's struts and the switch top with ordinary switches and keycaps.
Even if you used keycaps that don't have struts (such as from Signature Plastics), the shortest keycaps would give at most around a mm of clearance, and I think that the coiled springs would need more than that.

However, if you could somehow get high keycaps with higher struts, fabricate stem extenders ... or use very rare versions of the Cherry MX switch with longer stems (so far only found in typewriters), then you could get enough space for the spring.
