Good morning fellow enthusiasts!
« on: Mon, 02 December 2013, 13:01:27 »
Hey guys, recently just purchased my first 2 keyboards. I recently built a nice gaming computer and was using a 10 year old HP keyboard. I never understood why people spent so much money on keyboards until I got the chance to try one. Now I'm just typing because I love the feel of this keyboard.

I picked up a KBT Race 75% "Milk" and a Realforce 87U "EK Edition" 45g.

I really like both of them. Both were purchased secondhand and I've taken them apart to see clean out any gunk.

One question. I took off the space bar from the Realforce and it had a single spring underneath. Is this normal?

I can take pictures if you guys are interested but I'm sure you guy have seen what these look like.

Some people complain that the spacebar is too heavy with the spring. You can remove that spring to make the spacebar lighter.

Good morning! I got myself a Race[milk] a few weeks back as my second board after a Filco MJ2 104key.
Thinking about the Pure Pro, GH60, and Topre switch boards.
Still need to try clears, greens, and blacks. And the breadth of mods available for them.

Welcome to GH and see you around hopefully.
