Ya know, the first one that has been plastered all over Apple's website for the last week.  I have an Apple fanboy family member in the Pittsburgh area that just wants to try one out for awhile to see what it was like.   I do not think that he is interested in a purchase.

Let me know.
Wish I had some gif or quote for this space, but I got nothing

Yes, no, maybe so?

Is that a "Full House" quote?

This doesn't help you at all but I know someone with Model # 0000000001.  Or however many zeroes there are.  If you're super desperate I could see if they'd be willing to ship one out for a try (they have two or three).

Best of luck finding one in the area though.  They're fun little machines.  :)

What's that model?  Could you provide a picture?  I am not much of an Apple historian.

Maybe I used the wrong term when I said "Model".  They're Apple Macintosh Computers, the original Macs.  They have serial number (?) 1.  Whichever would be the equivalent to "first off the assembly line".  It may be doubtful that it's actually the first, but the number is indeed 00000001.  Or I could be horribly mis-remembering, but I don't think that's the case.

Either way, they do definitely own a few of them (in WI though, not PA).  :P

The main unit has model number M0001. The keyboard has number M0110 and the mouse has M0100.
I suppose the 'M' is for Macintosh.

Tell him to play Oregon trail on an emulator, then tell him to learn about the Dewey Decimal System, since most people played that at the library and card catalogs were part of the experience back in the day.  That should approximate it pretty well.  Maybe put on some early 80's tunes.  Damn, I feel old now.
