Well ok lol, I'll just put a mini review of the Rosewill RK-9000BRI that has MX Browns and is about a year old.
When I first got the keyboard, the keys were a bit mushy and felt sticky. That went away inside of two weeks and after that it what I think is nice crisp action but keep in mind this is my only mechanical keyboard. As long as I didn't look at it, I loved it. I really wish I had held out for a couple weeks and gotten the all black version, mine had an offwhite case that didn't match any other part of my computer and made it look like it was from the 80's.
Lately I've been doing extensive reading on other keyboards and decided I want to try something with switches that take a lot more force. I'm not a very fast typist and I think I top out at around 80-90 words per minute. Mostly I play games like League of Legends and MMO's on the keyboard, and for that the browns are great but as I mash the keyboard anyway when gaming, I think I should match the keyboard to my typing style.
When I started typing it was always on really crappy keyboard that you had to beat on and that style has carried over to this Rosewill that really only needs a feather-light touch. Even though the keyboard is amazing, I bottom out on every keystroke anyway and I feel like I should try something with more resistance.
I've painted the case of the keyboard orange now to match my computer case (Bitfenix Prodigy) using some krylon and even though I majorly screwed up the spray painting (I used the entire can, that's too much) it looks great and I like it much more. After finding that the internals are made by Filco I'll definitely keep this keyboard but I want to get the CODE keyboard as my main since it has MX Clears and very nice aesthetics. I really miss backlighting on the Rosewill.
If you're thinking about getting this keyboard, I can't reccommend it enough. But don't get the white unless you're very sure as it isn't a perfect white, its more of an eggshell with a hint of tan and I hated it. But other than that it has all the makings a great very basic board in my opinion, detachable USB (godsend around animals that like to chew), literally bulletproof (mine doesn't show any wear at all, the keycaps aren't even shiny), comes apart easily for cleaning, choice of MX cherry switches, internals belonging to a keyboard double its price, and in the new versions they fixed the female usb end so it doesn't break anymore.
If I bought another Rosewill I'd go for either the RK-9000BL or the RK-92000BL.
P.S. if you get an old one, all they did to fix the usb connection was super glue it which is very easy to do.
