Wang Terminal Keyboard (?) - PS/2 connection?
« on: Fri, 17 January 2014, 15:38:03 »
A couple years ago I bought a deteriorated Wang Terminal Keyboard. Recently I've spent some time on it and that's the final result:

I don't even know the model number of this strange board, as it was missing a label on the back (?).  I think it was used with a Wang PC or something like that. I've read somewhere that it can be hooked up to a standard PS/2 port, can someone clarify...? That would be great :) Anyway, it's a really nice board, even though it utilizes rubber domes (with double-shots!).

If anyone is curious about those old Wang boards... I've finally found something that makes any sense: inside, there's Keytronics label on PCB that states "36355-2". So I assume that has to be his model number. Of course it was a WANG rebrand, and as the back label is missing (maybe it wasn't there from the beginning, who knows?) God only knows if it had any "original" model no. Anyway, no info on "36355-2" from google... I've searched through some pics of "wang terminal" phrase results, but unfortunately the ones I've found do not resemble my board.

WANG has some serial model numbering issues! There's a control sticker inside with ~10 different numbers (serial, product and so on) that makes ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE!
