How do I interpret Model F #s
«

How do I find out what year this was manufactured? It doesn't seem to indicate it anywhere. Anywhere you could direct me that this has been covered?
Thanks!

And of course I find it after I ask. Faded on the cover -- mp7 ~9~85 I'm guessing it's 1985 5153.

Where do you see 7-9-85 in that picture?

Is the date on the bottom of the kb or on the metal plate (inside the kb)? I don't see the date in the pic.

There's sometimes a date on the inside plastic somewhere.
That is a pc/xt model F right? 1985 is a little late, but still feasible.
