Damn...I've never seen or eaten one that was THAT developed :eek: This is also kinda why you just poke a hole in the shell and eat it straight out of the shell.

There's a variant called penoy that doesn't have a developed duck fetus.  Imagine a hard-boiled egg with the balut broth/soup.
