I'm actually curious about too.

Though since there isn't any 45g Realforce 104U so whoever gets this might have to compare Type Heaven with 45g Realforce 87U.

Yeah, I have an 87u 45g and an FC660C 45g, and would like to get a full size Topre 45g board.  The HiPro is a bit more money than I wanted to spend.

I want to know simply because the price is so much better than the 87u and HHKB prices on EK.

Types about the same. Different sound though. More of a clack than thock on the top out sound.

How would you say the quality of the board is?

I wasn't a huge fan of the rubber coating on the keys, too soon to tell how durable they are. I agree with the statement that the Type Heaven was more clack than thock. The case imo has nicer lines than the Realforce case, however, the PBT keys on my Realforce are quieter. Just "brushing" the keys with my finger (not typing) the Type Heaven was significantly louder than doing the same thing on the Realforce.

Unfortunately, there aren't any uniform weighted Realforce 104U's available that I'm aware of. So, the Type Heaven has that going for it.

For the price, it would make a phenomenal keyboard for work though. Types nice and doesn't carry as heartbreaking of a price tag if it gets damaged by the cleaning crew or stolen by envious co workers.

I've learned to touch type the number row, but the numpad is a must for work (whenever I need to manually do data entry). The pros for the 87 key layout are fantastic for 90% of things I need to do on a computer, but the numpad is still king for the tedious stuff. Now if only they'd make a 17-key or 21-key (normal sized + key, wide 0 key, and no 00 key) with Topre switches...I wouldn't need another full size keyboard ever again.

My type heaven feels substantially heavier than my hipro
feels like a 20gram difference. haven't actually used a proper testing method aside from typing on them both
