I already have a '91 so I think I will pass. There is a bit of mania going on with the mini's right now. I thought maybe it was just me or something, but I am not alone.
That one is posted at 172 and there are 6 days left!
Are any geekhack members bidding on this?

Yes, I should have purchased one a few months back when they were much cheaper.

One of my goals in life is to get NIB mini's for each year they were produced. I wonder how long that will take....

That's going to be tough to do, bigpook.  If you happen to complete this quest, I hear there's a most exalted place in Heaven for you.  After all, God loves Model M minis, too.

Cheers,

Tough but not impossible, I hope. I expect it will take many years before its complete.

From what I believe, the big G was directly involved in the creation of the model m. Who else could have thought of using a buckling spring? : )

You bet.

I know people here love all manner of other 'boards, but they can have them all.  There's nothing better than a Model M, particularly a NIB M.  It's free of people germs, board chow, hair, etc.  I've a 1988 1391401 that has the best key travel of any M I've ever used/owned, and it'll have to be pried from my cold, dead hands.

Luck with the NIB mini quest.  Myself, I'd love to own one, but I have poor timing when it comes to finding the rarities Brandon sells, and eBay quickly goes out of my price range.  That's how it goes.

Cheers,
~rn.
