Multiple non-responsive keys on Steelseries 6Gv2
« on: Tue, 20 May 2014, 01:13:56 »

Currently the keys shown in my image are completely non-responsive p[;'/, i have attempted to re-solder each connection individually (which let to it working again for ~1 minute).
Another strange thing I noted is that if I bridge the connection between the two pins on my p key all keys may suddenly start working, until the bridge is removed.

I'm having a lot of trouble trying to work out what the exact problem is, obviously I can't return it as I've heavily modified this keyboard. (Different switches added etc!)

If anyone has any ideas, i'd love some help with this! Onscreen keyboard sucks...

Still looking for a hand on this if anyone has any ideas, not sure what would make several keys suddenly stop working.

Can you take a picture of your PCB where the solder joints are? Perhaps some of your solder joints got messed up? Or maybe you had cold joints that finally failed? Or maybe the switch contacts in the switch got dirty?
