Dayum, that's a good deal. Too bad I'm not in the US.

Has anyone used these? Any reviews?

I wonder how well it would work holding a lamp.

I found this review https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YBaiCyvGWy4; looks pretty solid overall.

Does anyone have other recommended monitor mounting solutions? (I’m also looking for a solid articulating desk lamp arm, if someone has recommendations there.)

Ergotron and Spaceco.

Spaceco will be available on the Tek Syndicate store in the next couple of weeks and you can pick up an HP branded Ergotron for under $100 on Amazon.

These Freedom Arms look sorta flimsy and kind of ugly to me.

Ergotron and Spaceco.
To me, the ErgoTech thing looks pretty similar in build quality & function to http://www.ergotron.com/ProductsDetails/tabid/65/PRDID/523/language/en-US/Default.aspx

But I don’t have any hands-on experience with any of these, so it’s kind of hard to tell. It would be nice to see some in-depth comparative review from a trusted neutral third party.

The freedom arm is like an improved, better looking Ergotron LX. And it's easily expandable to dual monitors. Solid as hell, definitely not flimsy in any way.

Looks be deceiving- watch any video on them!

eh, regardless, I'm ditching my Ergotron stuff for Spaceco if TekSyndicate gets a good enough bulk discount.

Humanscale arms are great. They look clean and holds up to 40lbs, meaning that it's extremely easy to move large monitors around. They're expensive but I got mine on Ebay for cheap. The Ergotron arms aren't that bad if you don't have a big monitor, and there's the popular $50 triple monitor mount on Amazon, but it's hard to adjust the height on those mounts.
