Programmable keyboard layers
« on: Sat, 07 June 2014, 21:41:19 »
So, I know that there are some keyboards that have FN and PN keys and that the PN layer and the PN shift layer are programmable...

But I have assumed that keyboards without a PN key don't have programmable layers..  Is this idea incorrect?

Are there any keyboards with only FN keys that are programmable?

If I want programmable functionality, should I only be looking at keyboards that have PN keys?

thanks
Does anyone have any accessories or key caps or other poker 2 related things lying around that they are not using?  I don't mind taking it off your hands if you no longer want it...

Most all custom boards are fully programmable.

The Poker II has such approach, though the custom made ones uses tensy  board with an AVR ATMEGA32U4 8-bit microcontroller  and other similar micros, that allow actual programmable capacities. If some keystrokes are enough for your needs the commercially available keyboards may serve you well, but if you need full customization you may consider the current GB that Sprit is running. It has many options from 60 to full size kits with actual programmability.
