Can you tell FOR SURE whether this model keyboard has MX Blacks?

Thanks!

If it's a G81, it has MY switches. G80 is the prefix that uses MX switches.

Yikes! I've heard of MY switches, but don't know anything about them. How do they feel compared to MX Blacks?

Searching "Cherry G81" on Youtube produced some switches that at least *sound* similar to my somewhat untrained ears. (Or are my ears *that* untrained?)

On another tangent, is there a way to make sure that a given G80 keyboard contains blacks and not other MX switches? Those model numbers make zero sense to me. All I know is that they also specify the layout and interface type.

Thanks again!

They're garbage. I would not recommend you use them. I buy G81 keyboards for the keycaps then send them to the ewaste recycler where I think they belong.

Read up on the Cherry boards and the model names here.
