Howdy folks.
Finally made an account to stop lurking and actually be social for once.
I got into mechanical keyboards around 1 year ago with a purchase of a Das Keyboard Ultimate with MX Blues.
The Das suited me for a while, even after I got over my first mech euphoria that a lot of people go through.
Now I find myself plunging back in out of nowhere. I didn't even need a new KB, the Das is still going strong. (just ordered some blank PBT caps for it though, since the keys are getting pretty shiny.)
About 4 days ago I got my new Ducky Shine 3 TKL with browns in the mail, which I setup to use at home so I can bring the clicky Das in to work to annoy my coworkers.
I just sprung for the Poker 2 with clears on the recent massdrop.
I have a desk job but nothing requiring crazy amounts of typing like some of you developers and programmers. I'm finding myself looking for excuses to type more than usual just to get some use out of my boards. What is this strange feeling washing over me!
Oh well. I'm a little impulsive with my hobbies. I figure I spend most of my day on a computer, might as well enjoy every aspect of it including the input devices.
