Any interest in a group buy for Tipro numpads?

I notice this listing has been around for months.

16 Tipro keypads, seller is asking 99 with 49.99 shipping but will take offers.

I believe it's possible to do 125 or less shipped for the lot, under $8 per keypad. It'll come up to over $12 each probably in a group buy since the group buy leader will still have to reship.

Question is, how is it possible to make these Tipros work?

IIRC in our last discussion it was said that these dont' connect to normal PS2 keyboard ports, but have to be either connected to a Tipro keyboard and governed by a Tipro keyboard controller, or we'll need to hook up a teensy to the keyboard matrix and program it ourselves.

Does anybody have any idea how we can turn this to an advantage. The numpads are very nicely sized and almost certainly of some use to some of us. I have since accepted the notion that I will have to poke around keyboard matrices if I am ever to work with POS keyboards.
Most of the modding can be done on your own once you break through the psychological barriers.
