Can I replace Kaihua Kailh switches with Cherry MX switches?
« on: Mon, 08 September 2014, 21:04:25 »
My question pretty much is, do Kaihua Kailh and Cherry MX have the same pinout? I want to get a keycool numpad but I don't want cheapo ripoffs of Cherry switches, so I was wondering if I could replace them...

Buying more keycaps,
it really hacks my wallet,
but I must have them.

Why can't you just buy a Cherry MX keypad in the first place??

Many companies have completely switched to MX compatible switches and no longer offer genuine cherry MX switches in their products.
