Anyway, now that I've changed the eye-bleed red and black theme I will be alot more active here. I can bear to read the site for more than 5 minutes. For those who don't already know Im the annoying newb thats not leaving anytime soon.
Ive only ever typed on buckling spring, vintage t alps, and kalih switches and probably wont try alps or cherry any time soon because of how cheap I am.

Current keyboards:
1391401 restored by phosphorglow with remote desktop cable
1393464 (the one with the purple font) with slightly damaged remote desktop cable
some random 122 key m with no poped rivets
wheel writer 3 keyboard with factory defect missing rubber mat
oh and one of those $40 vintage t alps keyboards
http://www.ebay.com/itm/380994154944
for the $40 you are getting caps that might be mx compatible, new top caps for a stretched kishy, and official ibm key cap puller. I was dissapointed.

oh, and also Ive got a 107 key 4704 coming soon!

Welcome to Geekhack!

A fan of buckling spring, perhaps?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
