Cherry MX BROWN Switches

****Requires one switch (spacebar switch) to be replaced****

This Filco is clean, well maintained, and in good condition. Unfortunately the brown plunger part of the Spacebar switch was snapped when the spacebar was hit horizontally with force. Superglue was then used with some success, however after a second application the glue seeped between the switch and the brown plunger, keeping it stuck.

As such, the switch itself needs to be replaced. This can only be done by opening up the keyboard and using a soldering iron to swap it over with another Cherry MX switch. As I can't source a soldering iron myself, I have decided to sell it. You could essentially buy this, replace it, and immediately sell it for a higher price

Other Notes:
* The cardboard box it comes in has been water damaged at the front -as in first photo (was empty when this happened).
* Comes with all the extra accessories when purchased (key puller, extra Windows keys, manual, ps/2 connector)
* Also a paint chip on the board (third photo)

I really wouldn't move too far away from the listed price given it's ~$170 for a new one (auspcmarket.com.au), and people are selling it for $100 non-damaged used. What do you want to pay?

I'm in Marsfield, or Belrose during the work day - so it's a very easy drive to Artarmon.

If you only want the case I'll gladly pay the $10 difference for everything else, I live in the central coast so picking it up shouldn't be a problem or if you prefer shipping it I'll cover the shipping.
