Hello All! Lurker here finally decided to make an account!
« on: Thu, 04 December 2014, 21:24:11 »
Hi all,

I have finally decided to join these ranks after lurking for a while.

Started getting into mechanical keyboards a couple months ago from a friend who introduced me to the different switches. It all started with a Das 4 with TaiHao Dolch keycaps, then avalanched into purchasing some sets from PMK and Poker II with low profile Vortex case......what has the keyboard community done to me....

Anyways, hope to get more involved with this community!

Well it hasn't done as much to you as it has to me....
Just tread carefully and stay away from classifieds. That is unfortunately where I dwell.

Welcome to Geekhack!

Another new Poker-owning member :p  And you have Tao Hai Dolch already - I'm still waiting for mine :p
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada
