Why are companies coming out with keyboards with Gray switches? Am I a sissy?

It started with the Ducky 9008 Pro PBT w/ Linear Grays,
then the KB Talking One's with both Linear and Tactile Grays,
then a new comer Varmillo 87 is offering them,
And Ducky now has MX Grays on their Year of the Horse Mini (in China only).

Do I have sissy hands?  Or are these destined for computers that control Nuclear weapons?

Maybe you have sissy hands, but I think I'd love some linear greys. You can't really type without bottoming out on something like reds, and it takes a lot of practice to be able to do it on blacks, but it's easy as pie on greys.

I had a board with a tactile grey space. I found it to be rather cringe worthy, just felt wrong.

Yeah if someone could come out with a keyboard with hotswappable switches that would be great. The amount of switches I want to try/use is getting a bit overwhelming.

Next, they will be coming out with boards populated fully with 160g super blacks. 
For some reason, I don't think many people really use these... probably more for sake of collecting things that have 'rare' configurations.

Not a sissy, tactile greys aren't too bad - but linear greys are insane.  This coming from someone who likes greens.

I'm putting 120 springs into some blues for someone.

Little heavy for me but it's quite nice. Very hard to bottom out.

Well you could just get a PCB mount keyboard or something with an open backplate and then buy all of the switches you want to try.
Then all you would have to do is swap the stems and springs.
Either that or someone could come up with some weird fully SIP socketed PCB with a raised backplace. It would be bulky as all hell but it would work.
