The TEX CNC aluminum case is up too, though the only color options are black, silver and blue.

IMHO the TEX aluminum cases are really, really nice but the MD deal isn't the best way to get the aluminum version.  No feet and no fat front (I like the way the fat front slides the keyboard up the "slope" so to speak).

I agree with you there, it isn't the best deal. I have the blue color now, and while I don't use the feet on mine, but I want them regardless. The fact that they are trying to sell it without them is pretty lame. I seem to be in the minority, but I actually like it without the front lip, and the larger DIP switch hole makes it easier to use with the V60. It isn't exactly a stellar deal though. In fact, I'm debating which color to get now from MK.com. I can't make up my mind!

I have the acrylic case and I do like it quite a bit, larger front lip and all. :)

Have two of the acrylic.  Not bad for 60 a pop.

Tbh, I really dislike the rubber feet, I would have rather they include metal feet instead..

Adding rubber feet to the deal doesn't really change anything; it is available other places with aluminum feet.  I'd rather have these than rubber feet:  http://www.amazon.com/Sorbothane-Hemisphere-Non-Skid-Adhesive-Durometer/dp/B003IMSIBA/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1421246037&sr=8-1&keywords=sorbothane+feet

They offer the aluminum feet in the drop. It is an additional $8,which is how the handled this last time as well. The rubber feet are included at no extra charge.

Not seeing any option to add aluminum feet anywhere.

If you hit "Join Now" there are two drop down boxes. The first for case color, the second to add the feet as an option.

I see, thanks for the pic! Oh man, when I took part in the drop, there's no such option, glad they added the aluminum feet now.

I joined the drop for a blue case with the feets, $115 shipped to Canada.  Will go nicely with PBT Olivetti from Ivan's gb (and I already have black and silver cases).

I like Tex's case with the lip too, but it'd be $140-150 by the time it arrives from MK, and I'd rather spend that much on a different case. :/

So I have had the TEX acrylic case for about 6 months, and I absolutely love it. However just a heads up to anyone interested in purchasing this keyboard case, It does show wear over time. I have used this keyboard on my Tekmat and never really thought anything of it, until I took it out of the case last week and noticed two stains where I rest my hands on the mat(I don't use a wrist wrest). I am not a very sweaty person, its just a natural thing, and the Tekmat absorbs oils and grease...actually that is really what its made for. Here is a brief album.

Thanks for the share! never really thought about it before, unfortunate that it's so apparent after 6 months

Yeah thanks for sharing that. I'm not sweaty either, but I despise oily keycaps and such. I'll make sure I wipe down my case when I'm wiping my caps and all. Thanks!
