Where to find G80-3000LSCEU/2 in the US?

I think I have settled on this keyboard, but cannot source it in the US.  I would like the Blue Cherry switch (or brown) but do not want to go with inferior construction of the Scorpius, or the nkey issues of the DAS3 (and it is too much money for me as well).  Also, I prefer a black space saver keyboard, so do not want to do with the Compaq Mx 11800.

Any ideas from the 'keyboard goddesses and gods' of the net?

I am not sure about where to find the specific keyboard you are looking for, but, if all else fails, the MX11800 is a pretty small keyboard; you would be pretty suprised how small it truly is.

Spacesaver?  Cherry G80-3000LSCEU/2 is a full size board with numpad isn't it?
Cheapest (reliable) Cherry Blue board available in US is this one I think (as long as you don't care about the numpad, and seeing the Scorpius on your list I don't think you do...)

There is also the G80-1865 although you will need to use a Korean buying service.

Have you thought about Filco Majestouch tenkeyless?

This Hong Kong shop sells the G80-1865 (both the brown and blue switch variants) and ships internationally. The price is quite high though (and I have no experience with this seller).

They also sell the blank all white G80-3000 LSCXX for a similar price.

Don't rule the Scorpius that inferior relative to the Cherry. Certainly there have been issues about bad solder patchwork on the Scorpius, but not all their boards reflect that. At the same time Cherry uses a poorly designed and constructed main pcb on the boards I've seen. Seems to me its about a horse apiece.

Another quality of the Scorpius which may be important (especially for blues and resonance) is the metal plate mounting. As far as I know the Cherry uses a pcb mounting without the metal plate.

However, if you want to do any modding, plate modding is a pain to deal with, whereas PCB mounting makes things much easier.

CDW has them. I ordered BROWNS they shipped me BLUES. Angry. I will show you the pics of mine just got it 2 days ago.

No screws a snap together, very light, feels like a toy. I am not sure if poorly designed is the right word. I think i spent roughly $80 including shipping.

Cherry Blues. Somehow it isn't as loud as my Filco tenkeyless from AG. Maybe because the keys are super thin/light. I tried to take ok pics with my iphone :(. The numpad keys are way thicker/taller than the normal letters which are so thin you can see (+) post THROUGH the key with the help of angled light.

Lol ripster I don't want to turn into House yet.. Aspirin works well for now the hard drugs are for 40+.

And yea the printing on the keys is insane. It is like someone wrote on them with gel ink and it hardened. The arrow keys and the arrows on the enter and backspace have a little dot/tip at the point of the arrow. Maybe braille? lol
