This looks to be a photoshop job.  Look at the step from the curve to the flat part on the right side.  The step looks to go from about an 1/8" wide at the bottom to nothing at the top with what appears to be a slight shift in color above it in the bezel with a fairly crisp line.  Though it is a slight change I think I can see it.
