Will they be available in MX Clear?

So far, the Cherry.de website seems to have only the "major" 4 types: Red, Black, Brown, Blue.

Interesting. Very interesting. Though I don't understand the reason for a clear switch case but none the less if their is a demand their will be supplies.

Once I'm able to get a hold of these, I can start developing RGB PCBs (currently in very early prototyping stages). If you are not a big fan of LEDs, then it would be more difficult to see a reason for it. :D

I'm in the same boat. 3mm rgb leds don't exist afaik, but rgb smd leds (yay acronyms!) would work wonders with this clear switch case. Honestly, I was going to go with matias clickys cuz I quite like the feel, and they have a clear body, but good luck finding new alps keycaps, let-alone blanks, let-alone transparent blanks lol.

Yep. That's the major problem. We have people here that are capable of designing RGB LED PCBs (acronyms lol for real).

Who makes Alps keycaps? Can't we just run a group buy for that? All it is PBT clear plastic, with a coating on top and then written legends by laser. If a factory can produce these in Cherry, and they also produce Alps, they can for sure produce LED compatible keycaps. But what do I know :P

Afaik, SP is the only place that makes alps keycaps, and they don't offer much variety before it gets costly

interested in 200 of any

Will you be replacing the inside? In other words, purchasing to use the clear casing only? I'll see if they can sell just that because I'm also interested in the clear casing, but not with the switches offered.

If the switches are outrageously priced, then I might just go for casing only.

Filled out the form! Interested in 100 plate mounts for just the clear casing. Can anyone confirm that the rectangular LEDs are going to be able to fit inside these?  ;D

Unfortunately, the seller only gave me 4 options Red, Blue, Black, and Brown. They haven't contacted me yet. I'm not sure what's taking so long!

Note: I don't plan on using rgb leds, just white ones

These should work the same way any normal cherry switch would theoretically though I have not tried it so i can say for sure.

I would be interested in Browns, Blacks, and Blues. The issue is price. Without knowing the price I can't say for certain how many switches I would be willing to buy.

I really hope this goes through! I'm really curious how much they're going to be.

The company who I was going to "pig back" the order with is going to take a while to place the order. In the meantime, they will most likely be available before I could start this group buy. Turning it "purposeless" for lack of a better word. So I have decided to not dedicate my time towards this group buy anymore. When the opportunity presents itself again in the future, I will come back and restart this group buy.  I'm sorry to disappoint guys. I hope you understand.
