The company went down after less than a year. Did anyone think they were going to make big bucks from this thing?

The designers were demented indeed.

That said, I offer $15 shipped CONUS to any geekhacker who wants to buy one of these and try it out for fun. I personally can't be bothered to sign up for an account to bid for one of these things.
