Keyboard carrying cases
« on: Mon, 30 March 2015, 07:02:59 »
Hi -

I've just bought a KBT Vortex Race keyboard that should be arriving very soon.  :thumb: I'm planning on using this keyboard for work and I will be traveling with it daily. Which is why I am looking for a good carry case.

I've found a great link here:
https://www.keychatter.com/store/keyboard-carrying-cases/

But it seems like the shop is no longer selling. Does anyone have another address for products like these?

A little off topic:
How do I find a plastic keyboard cover (the one my ducky shipped with) for the Race layout? Ideally I would like to have a plastic cover inside a sleeve bag. What do you guys think?

I think the best things you would be able to get right now would be a Grifiti neoprene sleeve. There was a drop on Massdrop for them, but you can get them off their website here - http://www.grifiti.com/chitons Although, Sifo got a soft case recently so you may be able to ask him where he got his from.

As for the plastic hard top cases, I think you only get those with the boards themselves.
Can we get them to build the Alps ten feet higher and get Cherry to pay for it?

I have one of Intelli78's custom hardshell cases for my Poker and it's the nicest case I've ever seen. The Grifiti cases are less expensive and decent cases if you plan to carry your keyboard inside something else. If you're carrying it by itself though, I'd recommend the Keychatter case.

He's out of stock now, but I'd PM him directly and see when he plans to do another run.

But really: I have one of the Chiton Grifiti cases and it's good for a soft case (I got mine off of Massdrop). Decent neoprene case, especially for the price and the extra pouch is handy.
