Special Cherry Stabilizers
« on: Tue, 14 April 2015, 14:33:30 »
Hey guys, have anyone noticed how the PokerII seem to have a special kind of cherry stabilizer, where the stabilzers have 4 pins poking up that helps guide the stabilizer's stem during the upstroke? I'm trying to find where I can purchase these specific stabilizers because they seem to help reduce the wobble that comes with cherry stabilizers. Any help would be greatly appreciated  :D

That's the plate mounted version of cherry stabilizers. Only works if your board has a plate and the correct cut outs. Lots of custom plates have cut outs to use PCB mounted cherry stabs because people think it feels better (I agree). Typically only stock boards with plates and cherry stabilizers will have them.

Oohhh I see  :D
Thank you for the quick answer  :)
I kinda prefer the plate mounted cherry stabilizers because I feel as though there's less wobble during the upstroke, and also less rebounce noise. I have both of them and I've noticed that the stabilizer on my PokerII is much better than that of my KMAC. I tried using the same spacebar and the PokerII definitely feel more sturdy and has much less noise during the upstroke
