I initially intended to experiment with these:
https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=45931.30 - however I didn't want to install a cad program to convert the .dwg to .stl, so I started from scratch with tinkercad
Previously, I always dismissed switch stickers, as I didn't understand what they are for, the discussions online deem them as placebo, however, after realising that the switches of my infinitykb was wobbling heavily (bad plate cutout choice, regular square cutouts should wobble much less) - I decided to try stickered switches - I'm glad I did
the switch didn't survive :( - I slipped and bent the leafs - his sacrifice wasn't in vain
Failed ones, retried a lot to get the dimensions/shape right
The design is extremely simple, it's just one layer in 0.2mm, it eliminates the wobble completely, the switch closes fine, the middle piece gets stressed a bit as the switch top has 2 nudges that pushes it, the part survives and re-shapes to make room for that nudges
I'm very proud of the end result, I wasn't willing to order stickers online and wait weeks for them to arrive, plastic might also be a better material for this task
