Since most sellers will accept 25%-33% discounts, You can probably get these for $80 shipped. Who can complain at such prices?

(Note, Orihalcon is selling NEW 122 keys at under $40 shipped and his are guaranteed tested by a reputable geekhacker. These ebay boards are for people's projects and I recommend all noobs to buy from Orihalcon. Remember guys, once samwisekoi is done with his GH122 project there will be a mad rush for casings!)
Most of the modding can be done on your own once you break through the psychological barriers.

Already sold - these seem quite popular :))
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

My understanding is that these particular M122 cases are not suitable as replacement cases for F122s, although other M122 cases may be?

replacement cases for F122s, although other M122 cases may be?

First-generation M-122 cases (with the large legs) fit the F-122 with just snipping off about 4 little corners of plastic tabs perhaps 5mm square each.

Later M-122 cases (square badge right) take maybe a dozen minor trims. I think it was wcass who posted the guide.
