For those keyboard nuts who would buy a whole vintage computer and throw everything away except for the keyboard, this is the ultimate.

That said, it is very interesting. Mechanical impedance instrument? Is it this geekspeak for 'a mechanical ultra heavy something that you can't lift therefore causing impedance to your movement'? A ball and chain would do just as well, and it's cheaper.

I expect the winner of this to THANK THE OP.  :p
